Ok, I am taking two of my girlfriends to WDW over Mother's Day weekend for a quick whirlwind trip. They have both haven't been since they were toddlers. We will only be there for 2 days and nights, staying at the Swan. I plan on hitting every park just to give them a general feel, with evenings being spent night 1- in the Magic Kingdom and night 2- at Epcot. We will be spending the first morning at DAK and the second at MGM. I want them to have the best experience ever (so I'll have someone to take future trips with!)-- can anyone suggest places to eat that embody the WDW experience for 3 20-something (ok, so I'm 30, but they are still 20-somethings) girlfriends? We love to have a good time and enjoy the occassional adult beverage.... thanks for the help!

ok...here are some thoughts...
morning at AK....how about Boma for breakfast
mgm morning - cape may character breakfast or have lunch at 50's primetime.
evening at epcot - coral reef or Le cellier might me nice or hit cape may for dinner
evening at Mk - how about cindy's castle for dinner or ohana's....or for more upscale cali grill
Hope that helps

Whispering Canyons Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge for dinner. The food is okay, they will be blown away by the lodge itself. request Jeffro for your server and you will have a blast.

I agree 50's Prime Time if you're at MGM, it's a funny experience! And since they haven't been there in a while, I agree w/ Cindy's Castle too, for the full effect. The food there was...ehhhh....ok I guess...but it's the effect...Cinderella's Castle...that gets you.

But O'hana is a TERRIFIC place to eat. Especially for you 3 20 somethings (30 is STILL 20 something). The window views are great for fireworks if you get the proper timing. And the food is...YUMMY!!! I personally love O'hanna.

If you get a chance to squeeze it in, maybe you can try a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's or at 1900 Park fare. (as '20' something yr. olds, DH and I STILL love character breakfasts!)

ENJOY!!!

I know all of you would really enjoy the restaurants at EC. They are all pretty good. I have done several trips with my girlfriends and here are a few of our faves:

Relaxing lunch/drink at the Matsumona Lounge
Dinner loved Le Cellier & Marrakesh
Lunch- Konas, B&C or Mama Melrose, GF Cafe or GF Tea

Late Night: If you are into dancing dont miss PI as they stay open until 2am and we always have fun there or Jellyrolls dueling piano bar.
