We are planning to take our first ever trip to USO/IOA. I need
help. I was just reading some of the postings and I think with
a little help I could save alot of money. Some of these questions
might sound silly, but remember this is my first time.

What is a Fan club card?
What is an AP Card?
Also what is the better room a deluxe at Porofino or HRH?

Thanks,
Bamacamp

Hi I will try to help
1)Fan club card is for companys although a few people on these boards are kind enough to share they give discounts to park tickets, merchandise,on site hotels and restaurants on city walk
2)AP is annual pass 1 years admission to the parks also worth noting fan club card gives discount on APs but also fan club card gives comparable discounts to the AP as well
hope that helps:)

Usually, the lowest hotel rates are obtained with the Entertainment Card rates. Call the hotel and see if the entertainment rate is available for the dates you want. If it is, go to www.entertainment.com and buy the book for your local area. That way you can use the discounts at home and just bring the card inside the book with you when you check in the hotel. The 2003 book expires on Nov.1,2003, so if you're going after that, wait for the 2004 book to come out in August. You can book the rooms at the entertainment rate before you get the entertainment book.

Thanks, I just booked a deluxe room at th PBH for 180. per night.
Without the entertainment card it was going to be 299.00
per night

Being a Universal "Vet", I truly believe the Entertainment rate is the best way to stay on-site. You local bookstore, Barnes and Nobles, or Boarders should have them.

Last July we stayed five nights at the HRH and loved it. I'm staying at the RPR this July, just for something different. We toured it last year and it was beautiful. We had a character dinner at the PBH and it just wasn't my taste, very beautiful, but too quiet.

I'f you're questioning weather to stay on-site or not, stay on-site the benefits are well worth it and front of the line access is a lifesaver.

Have A Great Trip!!!!!
