OK - We are going for the first time to US/IOA in April - I have a major caffeine addiction -- admitting it is the first step!

I need my coffee ASAP in the mornig.

We are staying at the Royal Pacific - and my questions:

1. Are there coffee makers in the rooms?

2. Is there a fridge for milk or iced coffee?

3. Is there a decent coffee place at the hotel or in City Walk?

Thanks!

Yes they have coffee makers in the room but don't know about the milk and there is a starbucks at citywalk :thumbsup2

Thanks! If there is no fridge I can pack some Parmalat/shelf stable type milk for my coffee. Just can't start the day without my fix.

Starbuck's also has locations at the Studios and IOA as well as CityWalk...so you won't be too far from an outlet to satisfy your addiction. :rotfl:

ESN, they have coffee makers along with sachets of dried milk, we usually ask the maid for some extra , and she always leaves them.
On our last trip ,i usually went down to Orchid Court and got coffee for DW and myself and brought it back to the room, you can then get free refills up to 11:00 am during the week and 12:00 at the weekends

There is not an actual Starbucks in IOA, however you will find locations selling the pre-packaged Starbucks drinks in glass bottles.

We stayed at HRH during President's Week and were happily surprised to discover that since our last stay (8/07) they had replaced the old in-room coffee makers with single-serving Keurig coffeemakers. Moreover, instead of the past horrible coffee packets and fake dried creamer, they had Emeril brand coffee pods and real shelf-stable Land-o-Lakes half and half (Mini-Moos). This set-up actually made the best cup of coffee I've ever brewed in a hotel room!

I don't know if they've made the same improvement - yet - at the Royal Pacific. I hope someone on these boards who stayed recently will comment. If not, you could always call the front desk and ask.

P.S. We always stop at the Citywalk Starbucks to get morning coffee, too. To me, there's no such thing as too much caffeine. :thumbsup2

Yep,

RPR has the new pod coffee makers with Emeril's coffee pods and real cream "pods." Once you figure the coffee pot out (you have to make it in the right sequence..pod in first, then water, then on) its fast and the coffee is good, if not strong. There are also decaf pods and tea pods.

I love the pod pot!! I am seriously considering investing in one for my home.

than for two cups of coffee in the morning at no extra charge?:confused3
