Just found out that our flight from Columbus Ohio to Orlando has been cancelled for Sept 18 -22. I have been searching but can't seem to come up with anything good. Anyone having any good ideas up your sleeves, please share. I had very good times and a great price and now the prices and the times are soooo bad.

What airline cancelled your flight? We fly SW out of Columbus OH at the end of Sept.

Thanks.

I am also interested in which airlines cancelled on ya. We are flying out of Cleveland on really good flights and really good prices. So I am hoping nothing changes. I asked up front is there a chance the flight will get cancelled, they said no.

It was pan am, I just called to ask a question and was told that all flights as of Aug. 1st had been cancelled. I ask when they planned on making us aware of this and she replied we are working on that it just takes alot of time. So now we are stuck with no flights I have been searching all day. What are the chances of just changing our days at disney by 2 days. We are staying at Pop with free dining ???

In Jan my husband and I were flying to from New Orleans to PA to get married and our flight was the next day at 745am and they called us at 830 the night before to tell us they canceled it because they couldn't find enough ppl to run the plane..... WELL that really got me rolling, if you know what I mean  so then we kept calling them, went online and it went from "flight on time" to "flight canceled" within seconds! THEN they called us back at 9 to say they found us something and that was it... but it was really stressful those 30 minutes of wondering what was going to happen...

You should call an airline and tell them what's going on and ask them what they have open and get the price... Southwest is usually good at the last second stuff, just stinks because you won't get any good deals with it being just around teh corner. Call southwest and see if they are having any promotions right now. I know they are for me but it ends on Dece31 2005 and I need it for Jan 2006, so I'm going to wait and see if they open another one up.

Hope you can find something! I know how stressful it's being... Maybe you could fly into an airport close by and drive some?

Jaime

Good luck!!! The 2 airlines that I checked still had flight at around $147 round trip and $141 (flying out of cleveland)round trip. I would call the airlines direct you can usually get better answers. I even found out about a discount by calling the airline, then I had to book it online to get the $ off the tickets.

What airline was that, I am having no luck at finding anything out of Columbus

What is the most you are willing to pay at this point? I just checked Delta for those dates and the lowest was $222. A little pricy, but doable. The drawbacks were arriving late and departing very early. How many of you are traveling?

Sorry about the cancellation. That throws a HUGE wrench in the plans.

I just found some with US air on travelocity for about 20 bucks cheaper than the "good" ones that we had. Not the best of times but I'm gonna go for it.

Good! I was really feeling for you. I didn't know what you would find at this point. I'm sure the options were severly limited.

Bad news, while I was messing around telling my Dh the times and prices they actually went up and went up alot (350.00) that is nuts, Maybe I am just not suppose to go. Do they charge for changing the dates at Pop and could you at this late date ??? P.s. we do have the travel insurance.

Finally, I found flights leaving on the 17th of Sept coming back onthe 21. Called Disney and changed everything. The flights were even alittle cheaper not the times that I wanted but at this point I am just glad to get them.
thanks, for everyones help. :earboy2:

USA 3000, a new airline, begins flying out of Cleveland on September 1st. The rates are super cheap, and everyone who I've talked to that has flown on them says their customer service is top-notch.

I only wish I'd known they were flying out of our fair city before I booked with Continental.

Good Luck!
