Help! FL Res Seasonal Pass, POR reservation

I used to feel i was a Disney expert. I'm kind of at a loss at this point. I've done searches and looked at stickies but still have questions.


We will be arriving 10/20 and checking out of POR on 10/24. 2 adult female friends staying at POR Royal Room, River view.

My travelling friend and I both have FL Resident Seasonal Passes that we've linked to MY Disney Experience. The reservation for the hotel is also linked.

These are my questions:

1. When can I make Fastpass+ reservation? At the 60 day mark because I have a hotel reservation or the 30 day mark because I am an annual passholder?


2. And how do I do this? Online through MDE?

3. I just checked and I can't download My Disney Experience app to my phone? Do I really need to get a new phone for my Disney vacation.?

4. Yeah, I guess I can go to a kiosk but, seriously, my phone is only a year old and I can't access the MDE app? What's up with that?

Anyone have any help on my multitude of issues?

I've been around for a long time but am a lurker/earner rather than a teacher and now I need some help!

2. Online through the MDX website is recommended over the app.

3. What phone do you have--iPhone, Android, Windows?
