My Grandma is 75 years old, she has been dying her hair every other week since before I was born. So it's already very over-processed. For whatever reason, she decided to do a home perm
. I haven't seen her (she won't leave the house) but apparently it's awful. Her hair is now very dry, broken & frizzy.
Any ideas on what we can do to fix this? Can you recommend any heaby duty leave-in conditioners or anything? She's stubborn & cheap - so I'm not sure we'll be able to talk her into going to the salon.
Oh, and to make matters worse.... The whole family is leaving for a cruise next week and she has now refused to be in any pictures

What about a nice hat?
I am not trying to be funny here but what about some cute matching scarfs and petal caps that match her cruise outfits. Maybe a new beachy hat to match her coverup. When my DH's grandmother decided to go "to her bed" or began spending more time in it... she had a mohawk everyday becasue of her tossing and turning. She finally got the "almost" buzz cut.

Okay, you have me smiling. I needed something to make me laugh.
Has she washed her hair yet? If she washes it asap she might be able to reverse some of the damage.
