My family and I are planning on Star Trek for the party on Oct 10th- This is our first time and i am worried our costumes will be too hot-- they are jumpsuits, lightweight, but long sleeved. Please help, any advice is appreciated!! Thanks

we went around that time last year. It was very warm (near 90) and VERY humid the night of the MNSSHP. I felt so badly for the children who wore heavy costumes (like TDS kind) or a lot of make-up....they were all sweaty, uncomfortable messes (the ones we saw--I can't speak for every child there, LOL)! I dressed our kids in matching halloween t-shirts from Target, they looked festive and were cool throughout the evening. the picture is in my signature :)

If it's still hot where you live now, try them on and have the kids go outside--if they get too hot, I imagine they will complain about it really quckly, LOL!

I'm planning on the Cindy costume for DD3. We'll do the picture first. If she starts to get uncomfortable, I change her into a halloween tshirt. You can always rent a locker to store a change of clothes. Havwe a great time.

We went to the Nov 1st party last year, and even though we wore jeans and t-shirts, it was warm out as I recall. The days were in the high 80s with very humid air and I'm pretty sure the nights were warm too...

I'd think about renting a locker as well...You can always change after you have your picture taken and do some trick-or-treating!

I have a jumpsuit from ST: TNG. If that is what you are talking about, you might want to take the advice given and wear them to get the photo, then change. If you have TOS uniforms, you should be fine.

Thanks for all the help-- it is the ST-TNG jumpsuit, so i am going to plan on letting the girls change after pictures. Again, thanks for the advice!!:D
