Help Finding Nook Book

Since this is the budget board, and I am new to the Nook, I thought I would see if anyone here can help me. I am trying to find this book:

My daughter would like to put this on her Nook to read for a school assignment. Now - obviously I found it at B&N - and it isn't very expensive - but I was wondering if it is out there free somewhere. Thought it was worth a try

Probably not. My understanding is that the publishers set prices for ebooks now across the board. So, no matter what store you buy it from, it will be the same price. The only way to get it free would be to borrow it from a library or possibly use the LendMe feature and borrow the ebook from a friend.

Sometimes the publishers do put out free titles. Since that title has been out for a while and it isn't considered a Gutenberg title (much older book) you will wind up having to do what another poster suggested.
