My bridal shower is coming up in 3 weeks (my awesome MOH is throwing it during the summer so all of my future-in-laws can come) and I cannot find anything to wear. I ordered a dress through the store my bridesmaids got their dresses from but the owner didn't think I needed the dress until March and now there is no chance of getting it in, in time :sad2: I would really appreciate it if anyone wanted to post their dress and where they got it. Or if anyone knows a good site to check out. I'm starting to panic I'm not going to find anything to wear :worried:

I know she will do rush orders as it usually takes her three weeks to make a dress but try going through prom-dress-gown.com. She made our bridesmaid dresses for an incredible price and we had them within three weeks. All you have to do is pick out a dress on her site that you like (I recommend getting your measurements so it is made to fit with no alterations) you can pick your color make any little changes you want to it and she will get it done. She is making my dessert party/rehearsal dinner dress as well and I can't wait!

The dresses we did get from her are stunning and beautifully crafted. I will be going through Cinderella (that's her chosen name) anytime I need a dress from this point forward. Did I mention free shipping as well? :yay:

HTH!!!

Lilly Pulitzer has super cute sundresses... they can get a little pricey, but they are very good quality and you'll be able to rewear the dress. Also on the Nordstrom website you can search for dresses by wedding occasion (rehearsal dinner dress, reception dress, shower dress, etc.) I would think that either one of these sites would be able to get you something fairly quickly. Good luck!

I buy all of my dresses at Forever 21. They have all the latest styles (if you are into fashion) at very cheap prices. (I think every dress is under $30.00?) However, quality is not the highest, so it's not a garment you will pass down to your future daughter or anything like that. I think the point of their clothes is that by the time the garment wears out, you will want to be on to the next cutting-edge fashion trend!

Be warned, the dresses are quite short and I don't recommend anyone over the age of 30 stepping foot in the store. 3 years left for me!

I've also had okay-luck at Banana Republic Outlet for work dresses.

If you are not wanting a dress to wear again, then I highly suggest Rent The Runway. It is free to join (you need to "join" to enter their website but NO payment info is ever required, it's just for their email list).

They have hundreds and hundreds of dresses and access. you can rent for 4-8 days at great prices. They all start at $40 and tons are in that range. All dresses are dresses that are hundreds of dollars normally, and are very current (this years runway styles). They have many summery looks though- not all are evening wear.

One perk with this is you get 2 sizes (for the price of one) included in your rental (to make sure it fits), also you can rent any second dress for $25 (in casse you really aren't sure about it, or have other occasions).

Shipping is free, you don't have to dry clean, and you just pop it back in the enclosed USPS bag into any mailbox.

They are on facebook too- you can see how popular they are! :)

My absolute favorite site for dresses is igigi.com. They are a designer in San Francisco and their dresses are very well made and wonderful! They start at size 12. They can rush a shipment too! (I apologize if you are smaller than a size 12, no offense meant at all!)
