My younger sister is currently at DW doing the College Program and her roommate decided to rearrange the room while my sister was gone. In the process, she knocked into her shelves with her Ariel figureines (she has red hair and LOVES Ariel) and broke one of them in half. She has already taken them all down and packed them up, and we've talked about the fact that that is one of the risks you run when you put important valuables out in a shared living space. Regardless, she is heartbroken.

She purchased it in Hollywood Studios during a family trip in 2007 and it is now out of stock everywhere it seems. Thought someone on the boards might have some insight on where we might be able to find another one. I've googled my heart out and am not having any luck.

This is the figureine...

Any help at all is much appreciated!

I haven't seen that one online, but I'd keep checking eBay....people list new stuff everyday and I'm sure it'll pop up.

If her original figuring only broke in to 2 pieces you may can save it. We used to have a local Hallmark store (individiually owned) and the man who owned it had some epoxy that fixed ceramic figurines. He fixed a broken Cherished Teddie I had once and you couldn't even tell where it was broken. Might look locally for something that sells figurines and call to see if they offer a service to fix broken ones :)

That stinks! have you checked on Ebay? You may have to go through a lot of auctions but it is worth a try - and since it is no longer made it is your best bet. Also make sure to check out the completed listings. If you find one that did not sell you could contact the seller and ask them if they would relist it for you.

If you don't find it now keep checking, new things are listed everyday :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I did check eBay yesterday with no luck, but plan to keep an eye out there. The idea of asking a figureine-type store about fixing it was a great one! We had really only thought of fixing it ourselves, and we all know how that sometimes works out, so I'll definitely look into that!
