Hi everyone! This is our first trip as a family! :yay: I will have myself, DH, my mom, and DS (11), DD (8), DS (4). We are doing the DP and will have 5 TS meals. We are going Jan 7-12. I have a pretty good idea of our ADRs but would love any input!

Day 1: MK: No ADRs scheduled. Thinking Pirate’s League in the late afternoon.
Day 2: Epcot: PPO Akershus breakfast
Day 3: AK: Tusker lunch; Ohana dinner
Day 4: HS: 50s Prime time lunch
Day 5: MK: Crystal Palace PPO breakfast; BOG lunch around 1:00.

Thinking about these changes:
1) Replacing the 50s Prime Time lunch with 1900 Park Fare dinner on HS day
2) Replacing the 50s Prime Time lunch with 1900 Park Fare dinner on arrival day and then just having QS while we are in HS
3) Moving Ohana dinner to Day 1. Would this be too much with the Pirate’s league?

I originally chose 50s pt, because I think everyone in my group would enjoy the “ribbing” aspect of it, but I have seen several people recommend the 1900 PF, and I think everyone would get a huge kick out of the stepsisters. Thoughts? TIA!

QS is terrible at HS, so your lunch choice there should probably stay.

I wouldn't do two sit down meals in a row on the same day (like breakfast and lunch on day 5). That would be too much food for me, especially if one meal is a buffet.

I haven't done Pirates League, but a dinner the same night would shorten you time in MK depending on what time you'd have to be at the pirate thing. Figure about two hours for a sit down meal plus travel time.

I wouldn't do Tusker House and Ohana the same day. Too much all you can eat for one day.

I would move ohana to your MK day, or to your HS day.

2 table services in one day work great for us. But we found that 2 a day works only with breakfast and dinner. A breakfast ADR and a lunch ADR is too much too close together. Likewise, a lunch ADR and a dinner ADR are too much as well.
You'll spend more time eating than doing the parks.

Agreed on not doing Tusker House and Ohana on the same day. That might be a little much. I would honestly keep 50s Prime Time at HS... 1900 PF food has never been great for us. The food at 50s PT is better in my opinion.

Thanks so much everyone! Sounds like I should drop Pirate's League and move Ohana to day one and then skip 1900 Park Fair altogether. 1900 sounds fun, but I guess you can't do everything! Thanks again for the advice!

I would do Pirate's League early in the day regardless. Then you get to be a pirate all day, not for a few hours.
