Hi all!

My husband and I are 39 days out! Can't wait!

Struggling with one minor detail in trip planning - our first day we are at HS. I had booked the Fantasmic Dining Package as part of our dining package before the full entertainment schedule had come out. The Star Wars fireworks were added.

My husband is a first timer. I haven't seen this fireworks show and my husband is a SUPER Star Wars nerd. I don't know how it would be possible to see both and have a good view?

In your opinion is it worth giving up our good seating at Fantasmic and finding good viewing area for Star Wars instead?

Thanks in advance!

What time is Star Wars fireworks and what time is Fantasmic? To be honest having seen both and with the knowledge that your DHS is a Star Wars super nerd I would cancel the Fantasmic dinning and instead do the Star Wars dessert party. It is great for a Star Wars nerd. I did it and have some awesome memories meeting Jawas and Storm Troopers and having a light saber duel with some CMs where we discussed the finer details of going for the knees and if it is a "low blow" or not haha.

I've seen both (although I saw Star Wars fireworks last April and they've changed since then), and I would definitely skip Fastasmic.

For a Super Star Wars nerd, if you can only do one during your trip I would say do the fireworks. We loved them! We did the fireworks dessert party and had a great time at the fireworks. My DD (10) is crazy about Star Wars and she went nuts over the fireworks show. (Well technically, we did the dessert party and fireworks on different nights, because they were rained out our dessert party night, but they gave us a raincheck to come back into the viewing area a different night and we loved the viewing area).

I agree, we enjoyed the dessert party! I would skip Fantasmic.

Loved Star Wars.. There's really nothing like it.
I've also seen Fantasmic.

I vote Star Wars

Good feedback, having the same debate and my whole family loves Star Wars but we've never seen Fantasmic so I'm contemplating 2 nights at HS (days would be at EP and AK)

"SUPER Star Wars nerd" ... you answered your own question.
Do the Dessert Party or arrive about 45 minutes early for good spot dead center of theater.
Go between two towers that are the projection booths.
Walk forward to manhole.
Look ahead maybe 10 yards to see masking tape on ground.
It makes a walkway.
If you can get right on the tape, manhole side, it will maintain width of walkway with no one in front of you.

soo.....what's this Star Wars fireworks thing and StarWars dessert party? and is it offered year round? Details please. and cost of course. :)

Flameful but I hate Fantasmic. We have the Star Wars dessert party booked for our March trip so that gets my vote!

Do you have Hoppers? Can you come back after another day at a different park?
Both are good, if you saw F! already I'd see the SW show...& DH will love it.....Effects are pretty cool.

Def Star Wars...

I'm not a big Star Wars fan and I absolutely loved this show when I saw it last May!! It was amazing... never saw Fantasmic.... I loved the Star Wars fireworks so much that not only am I skipping seeing Fantasmic but I booked the dessert party to see the Star Wars show when I return in March.

I had to stop watching. Oh My God. Yesssssssss! Now. Is that year round? And is it a special ticket event only? Omg. I need to see that. I refuse to spoil it lol

Dessert Party you pay for but the "Show" is free for all. Saw it twice last week. Been going since beginning of last summer ..... maybe. @yulilin3 ?

Is Fantasmic performed twice on any night of your trip? We've found it easy to get from the fireworks to Fantasmic2, and even fit in a couple of Tower rides in between. Fantasmic to fireworks seems tougher.
