So this is what I had been planning for our timeline for photography but is this actually enough time, will this give Randy enough time to get everything??? I've got Randy booked for 3 hours.

1300>1330 Getting ready photos/Poly photos

1330>1345 Travel to GF

1345>1430 GF, Carriage photos, Brides Room at WP

1430>1500 Ceremony & Staged Exit

1500>1530 Post Wedding Photos

1530>1600 Cake Cutting, first dance and Father of the Bride Speech

What have past Escape brides done?

Hi!
I was an Escape Bride, but we had Randy for almost 7 hours with a break inbetween..

I did not want any getting ready photos, so Randy came at 1:30 to take DH and all of our guests in the BW lobby. MOH and I came down at 2ish and we had the ceremony at 2:30. Randy stayed with us through the ceremony and cake cutting and champagne toast and then we did pics until almost 5ish I think it was.
He came with us to AKL to take pics there and a few of the room where we had our dinner and my niece (MOH) gave her toast.
He left us then and met us back in Morocco for our DP at 8:30.

So, basically we used Randy for about 3 1/2 hours not including the dinner and DP....

If you ask Randy he can really help you plan out the 3 hours and how it can work out best.

HTH! :goodvibes

I had my photographer for 5 hours.

12:30 they arrived and took "getting ready pictures"

2:00 we had to leave the Beach Club Villas and take the limo to Boardwalk. Obviously this was about a 1 minute trip. You might have to leave earlier if you are staying somewhere further from your ceremony location.

3:30ish-5:00 the ceremony was over and we took pictures around the Boardwalk with the photographer.

5-5:30 Photographers took pictures of dinner setup and then left.

That's a good question. I have Randy for 4 hours but thinking of adding one more hour so I can get getting ready pics and the reception pics because I think Mickey will be making a visit.

I have the same three hours, and when I talked to Randy he said there would be plenty of time. But I would just ask him. He has done this so many times, and he is really honest. I would trust his opinion!

Maybe you want to talk about how many pics you want. I know that Escape ceremonies are pretty short, and also most photographers wont take pictures of guests eating at a reception. So that might help your timeline.

Thanks everyone, will e-mail Randy my timeline and see what he thinks.

I was wondering the same thing

We also booked randy for our escape wedding, he told us 3 hours was plenty of time, he said he'd come about 45 mins before the ceremony to take some getting ready pictures, pictures at the ceremony, which he said isn't long at all for an escape, roughly about 30-45 mins, and then he'd take pictures where ever we wanted for the next hour and a half or so. He also just keeps snapping away so even with the 3 hours most girls end up with a TON of pictures!:thumbsup2

I have heard though in other wedding TR's that he sometimes comes early or stays alittle late, not all the time but it might be alittle added pixie dust if he does.:goodvibes

I spoke to Randy about what I wanted to have for pics...he gave me the estimated times and it sounds great! I wasn't sure he would be able to do it as I wanted to have getting ready pics, ceremony (noon), cake cutting, and then we wants family/character pics at BW...then the bridal party will head to POP and Poly for pics....dinner is at 5....we don't need dinner pics but I wanted him to come back for the fireworks cruise, which he said is no problem....so I ended up with a 4 hour package as well as having him come back for the Wishes cruise...I found him very helpful and accomodating!

I sent this timeline to Randy:

1300>1330 Getting ready photos/Poly photos

1330>1345 Travel to GF

1345>1430 Photos at Grand Floridian, Carriage photos, Brides Room at WP

1430>1500 Ceremony & Staged Exit

1500>1530 Post Wedding Photos

1530>1600 Cake Cutting, first dance and Father of the Bride Speech

And his responce was:

Great Time line I couldn't have put it any better
