Help..Dues statement for someone who sold?

Hi Everyone
Hoping someone can help me, just need to know since we sold our 2 DVC contracts last year (2010) should we be receiving any type of dues statement that shows what we paid for actual taxes last year? I don't think we received the purple annual dues statement that we usually do since we're not owners anymore.

Was some sort of settlement noted on your closing documents regarding the handling of the dues? I don't think you will receive anything from DVC but I'm sure you can all or write to MS to get the information for your resort(s). Most onsite resorts had a small credit ($0.02 per point) for their property taxes since they were over estimated. Depending on how you handled the annual fees with your closing, you may have granted that credit to the new owner. Most likely the property taxes would be pro-rated based on your closing date.

You might want to have your tax professional assist with the actual computation.
