I need help and I am hoping someone can give me some advice:
I am supposed to leave on Monday with my mother, DD, DS and his friend. Last evening my son (12) started crying and said he did not want to go to Disney...he only said yes to it months ago because he did not want to disappoint me. OMG!! :scared1:
Because my son does not want to go of course his friend does not want to either although he is VERY upset (like me).
My mother who paid for the upgrade to the Poly does not know yet...can't wait to tell her...it will not go well.
What I need to know is this: Is there anyway to cancel my son and his friend from the trip and get some kind of refund? I do not know how this whole package thing works :confused3.
What really upsets me is that originally this trip was planned for just me, my mother and daughter to go but my son decided he wanted to go as long as he could bring a friend.
I DO NOT want to cancel the entire trip...any suggestions? I am devastated. This was supposed to be a very special trip in memory of my father who passed away last year and had always wanted to stay at the Poly. I do not have my DH support in this...he does not my son to go anyway. What a mess!! :sad1:

I'm so sorry. :sad1: It's not fun at all to be in such a sad predicament just days before your trip.

I don't have any answers, but I just wanted to give you a hug. You sound like you need it.

Good luck.

I have had to take my oldest off a ressie before, and the CM said its easier to take someone off than add them on to a ressie. Call Disney and explain the situation. :grouphug: Good Luck!

As luck would have it (and with a great deal of praying) my son has decided to go!! His friend is going too. :yay: My son realized his decision affected a lot of people and he said he did not sleep well last night thinking about it. The boy is growing up...and I am getting more grey hair.

Thank you all for your support!

Glad to hear things seem to be going better. Here's some pixie dust for you just in case any other little "bumps" occur before your trip. pixiedust: And have a great trip!

Yay, that is so great! I'm sure you guys are going to have a fabulous time. :) See ya there!
