At first I thought it might be a problem with his food. Our Lab was not eating his dry food in the mornings. Usually, he is definitely up and waiting to be fed!!!

I started to wonder if it might be a problem with his food.
We are feeding him Purina Pro Plan.
I am remembering all of the poisonings due to chemicals in the pet foods before.

He has eaten his canned food at suppertime just fine.

This morning, my husband gave him some bread. Our lab usually begs and expects something when DH is packing his lunch. And, he threw it up!!!

Anybody have any ideas what might be going on.

Could there be a doggy illness going around?
Could there be a problem with the dry food?

:confused3

Has he eaten ANYTHING (food)? Is he drinking? What about going to the bathroom? Labs are notorious for eating things they should NOT. If it was MY dog, I would take him to the vet today! There are too many things that can go very wrong in a very short period of time when they have ingested something they should not.

Take the dog to the vet. I had same issue with my little Crested and he had a pancreatic infection which could have been fatal if not treated immediately.

OMG!!!!
thanks you guys.

I do think he is drinking.
And, he manages to eat his canned food, which of course he loves...
That is what is confusing?????

There has been very rainy weather here, and we haven't been outside much. Maybe we should check out the yard to see if there is any evidence that Raleigh has throw up his canned food outside.

He doesn't leave the yard (except for walking him, of course), so I can't imagine what he could have eaten. But, you never know.

Thanks again!
