Help-Does it matter that it's his second??

My marriage license states that I am divorced and also has my ex-husband's name on it. My marriage certificate does not. I had to bring my divorce decree when I went to the courthouse in NJ.

When my DF and I showed up at the Kissimmee Courthouse to get our wedding license we had been told to bring either my final divorce papers or my husbands death certificate - yes, he was inconsiderate enough to die three weeks before our divorce would have been final. Long, not sad story there.

We were not asked to produce either one. I guess it depends on the clerk you get. Just be prepared.
