Help- Do you wear your E-Ring during the ceremony? If so, on which hand/finger?

My Mum said I should wear mine on my left hand and then put it back after a couple of pics were taken just of the wedding bands...

when we got married in August 2007, I wore mine on my right ringer finger until after the ceremony.
For our VR, I had had the rings soldered together, so i wore nothing until the ceremony

ETA - your wedding ring is "suppose" to be closest to your heart..that is why it goes on first
It was once believed that the vein of love (vena amoris) ran from this finger directly to the heart. Romantic as this may be, medical science does not support this view

I wore my "Something Blue" saphire ring on my right hand and actually put my e-ring right over that one just before the ceremony started. No one could tell or notice, and I just switched it right after the ceremony.
