Help! DL surprise vacation letter hints

This is not our first trip to Disneyland, but it is our first trip back since "the before times." We would like to surprise our 5- and 8-year-old with the trip while we're in route to the airport. In the past they've loved scavenger hunts trip announcements etc. so I don't want to deprive them of the fun of trip build up completely. I thought it would be fun to have hinting and mysterious letters arrive in the mail for them in the days leading up to the trip. Something like, "It's been so long! We can't wait to see you!" but I'm having trouble thinking of 5-8 additional letter ideas. Can you help?
