Help Disney Vacation Account Adding Funds VIA Gift Card

This morning while adding funds to my DVA from gift cards I received, the balance was taken off my gift card but not added to my DVA! I'm certain of the gift card balance as I just checked it. I called Disney gift card and they were no help other than the funds were used online.

Update, problem has now happened with two transactions. Waiting for DVA to call me back.

This happened to me last year. What worked for me was calling the number on the back of the Disney gift card. They were extremely helpful. Don't rely on DVA to fix it. They were trying to tell me it was a problem with the store I purchased the card from( CVS) and it wasn't.

I believe others have had this issue and calling the number on the back of the gift card fixed it for them too. It is in small print, but it's on there.

**I just reread your post and I am very surprised that DGC wasn't more helpful. Try them again- you might have just gotten someone who doesn't know better. Keep on them about it too.

I had the same problem yesterday and when I called the number on the back of the disney gift card I was told to call back DGC on Monday starting at 7 am Pacific Standard Time. Apparently the people who can resolve this issue do not work on weekends. Hopefully, they will resolve the errors on Monday. I also spoke with DVA customer service and they only took my information to pass it along to the IT department. I am dreading the thought of making numerous phone calls for weeks.

No return call yet, I too am dreading the effort to get my money back. DGC was no help and just wanted to transfer me to disney store customer service, say what?

This just happened to me also! It wiped the balance of 2 $50 gift cards with no credit shown in my account. I sent an email but I guess I will be calling Monday morning.
