Help- Disney Store Interview!

Karentan - nobody said October was out too. I was looking at rescheduling my trip for the end of October, but is that not allowed either?

in our store, theres some people off in october, but not many. i dont think its totally out of the question but its preferred if people take holiday before october.

OK, so it has now been over a week and I haven't heard back from the Disney Store. I have resigned myself to not getting the job, as surely they would have contacted me by now? They said 10 days, which is actually up on Wednesday, but why the wait if they were interested?:

I spend all day carrying my mobile around, and check it often, just to see if I missed a call whilst I was in the shower or cooking tea. If it does go off I get all excited, but then when it isn't them I get disappointed.

I will ring them next week to ask what I could have done better, so I know for next time. Then I will book my 4 nights in the Disneyland Hotel at DLP.

I wouldn't worry yet....I've been waiting 6 weeks to hear back from an interview I had good feedback from Definitely give them a phone though if you haven't heard back in the next few days!

I think it's because I really want the job, so I am getting concerned that it is taking so long. It just feels like if they really were interested, they would have called me by now. I am left thinking that they got in touch with the people they want already, and I am left hanging.

Just to let everyone know, I got a card in the post yesterday from the Disney Store, saying they weren't going to take my application any further.

I thought it went well, but obviously, I was wrong.

Oh no, I am sorry to hear that

But don't sit and think that it went awfully wrong though - it might have gone well just like you thought. Please don't think like that until you now for sure what they thought

I have rung them twice to ask for feedback. I was told to ring back at the end of the day to speak to the lady that interviewed me, but then she was busy again, so I was told she would ring me back, but nothing. I didn't want to push it so haven't rung back since.

sorry to hear that, i was thinking about you earlier actually wondering if you got it or not. at this time of year they're probably only interviewing to replace someone who's left. try again in a month or two when they start recruiting for christmas. more jobs = better chance!

That's so annoying isn't it. How about leaving it a couple of days and then try again. Or do you just want to leave it altogether?

That's a shame. This is why I don't like group interviews, you think it went well, but everyone's vying for attention and if you don't stand out enough, they tend to overlook you I think.
But like others have said, try again in a couple of months when they're after Christmas peeps.
