Help! Disney On Ice Overcharged me!!

Hi, everyone --

I hope someone here can point me in the right direction!!

I took DD to Disney on Ice last night to see a show in Providence RI. During intermission, I took her out to the souvenir carts. We always buy her a pennant for her wall for each show that she goes to. The pennant was $6.00. I also picked up a coloring book for her for $7.00 (yeah, I know -- $7 for a coloring book?? but they didn't have the programs yet, so its a substitute, I guess).

Anyway-- I should have paid $13 for the two items - I just noticed on my receipt -- they charged me $17!!!

I didn't get an itemized receipt, because no one gets those ... so would i have ANY recourse if I try to dispute this through my credit card company??? Or is there a number for Disney on Ice I can call to get a refund?

I realize its only $4, but its the principal of the thing, you know??

There is a number you can call on that little card they gave you. It's an 800 number. They have really great customer service. We bought a light up sword that stopped working 2 days later despite batterie replacement. I asked for a new light and they sent me a whole new sword, twice! no the 2nd one didn't work either. LOL!
 
Isn't that the beauty of it all, though?

I didn't get one of those comment card things -- he neglected to put it in the bag and i didn't notice it till i got home!!

Anyone have that number???

you could also dispute the amount with your CC company if Disney doesn't resolve it.

I had a problem with the giant pens they sell. The Mickey one I bought didn't write (of course, I didn't try it until I got home), but when I called them, they sent me a new one! I got it pretty quick too. :earsboy:
 
The people that sell the stuff are NOT part of DOI or the venue you saw it at or the company that produces teh merchandise or the company that produces DOI (Feld).

You need to call the veune you saw the show at and tell them you need to spend to their non-food merchandise vending manager. Get the direct phone number, because those guys are rarely in their office, and you'll probably have to call a bunch of times. When you do get through, explain what happened, but do'nt hold your breath for a refund, because you have no itemized receipt it's your word against their's, and they will say you should ahve checked before you signed.

My advice, just dispute it through the credit card, or just forget about it.
