where to eat or make revs at.
Let me start of by saying HI, I am a newbie here but been reading the site for about a month or since we decide to go on vaction to WDW.
(a brief overview)We are going to be there from the 26th of June to the 2nd of July. We havent been there for about 7 years so I know things have changed abit. Anyway the party concists of wife, mother in law, my son (3yrs old on the last day) and myself. We are doing a split stay, 2 days at AS then 4 at Carribean.
Ok with that out of the way, we decided to get the Dining plan after looking at the prices at some restraunts. It may be too much food but I can push myself away and waste food(easier said than done). Plus we dont like to share becasue I might want something differnt than the wife so its just easier and less fighting.
But since we havent been for awhile, I am looking towards those that have been. What restraunts would you recommend for the stay, I want to make res ASAP.
We like to try all differnt foods so that makes that easier We also want to do a character breakfast plus one dinner show which would you recommend?

I hope this was easy to understand, thank you... Yes I have read the posts, but there are too many please help nawwor it down

I recommend checking out the menus on www.wdwig.com. Our family is dining at O'hana,Prime Time Cafe,Coral Reef,Cape May Cafe, Le Cellier,Boma and Crystal Palace during our upcoming trip in 15 days! We are a group of nine - age range 9 through 53.
Have fun deciding. Take other's recommendations with a grain of salt and don't avoid somewhere that you really want to try, because of negative revues - all is relative.
Enjoy!

 Welcome to DIS.

Get ready to spend at least 4 hours a day here!

Character breakfast I would recommend Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace or if not breakfast then Chef Mickeys also has dinner and Crysal Palace has lunch (which I enjoy) and dinner. As for dinner show I vote just pick one and enjoy and if you don't like it well then you've done it and you can try another one next time. With a 3 yr old son I would think Hoop de Do over Luau. While at Epcot you might want to try one of the World Showcases restraurant. Something that may have some kind of entertainment for your son. Our DD enjoyed the restaurants at Japan where they cook in front of you (Shogun type) and at Germany's Biergarten they also have a Octoberfeast style show they do. I don't think any of the other countries have anything except Moroco has the belly dancer.

Just remember pick some and have fun with it!

Welcome to the DIS!

Whatever you decide, you should make your decision FAST!

Your trip is only six weeks away, and you are going to be at WDW for one of the most crowded weeks of the year. People have been booking ADRs for your week since late December. Have some backups ready just in case...and it would help if you are flixible with dining times.

Good luck!
