Help deciding on Spirit of Aloha

So we are deciding if it is worth 2 dining credits or if we should try something else. There will be 7 of us including a 4 year old and a 3 year old. I am wondering if the value is there or should we spread our credits out more wisely. We have ressies for Boma(dinner), Akershus(lunch), Liberty Tree(dinner), Chef Mickeys(breakfast), Crystal Palace(dinner) and 1900 Park Fare(dinner).
Is the dinner show going to be fun for the kids and is the food good??

If I had to pick and choose and you wanted a dinner show, I'd take the Hoop-Dee-Doo any day over the Spirit of Aloha. The kids do get out to dance at SOA if you (and they) are into that. That's my DISer humble opinion. I hope you have a great time on your trip no matter where you choose to eat.

I don't think that Spirit of Aloha is worth 2 credits. I think you are better off using 1 credit at Ohana (better food, better atmosphere than luau anyway, IMO), and having the extra credit to go elsewhere.

We've gone the last two years and we loved it. DD really enjoyed the show and the food and service was great. But we paid OOP for cat 1 seating last time and it was much better. For us the better seating really makes a difference.

We went to the SOA in May and we really enjoyed it. That said, we were a group of adults and I'm not sure kids your little ones ages would enjoy it as much. As a PP said, the Hoop Dee Do may be a better choice. I wasn't too sure that SOA (or HDD, for that matter) is worth 2 credits, if I went to either again I would probably pay OOP.

Thank you all for your input. We have opted to go another route than SOA...... Always know that if I need help deciding on something that I can turn to my fellow Diser's for help!!!!
