Hey all!
Ok I have pretty much narrowed down our EPCOT choices to Chefs de France & Tutto Italia...can you tell me which you prefer/your experience? What did you get there that you loved/hated?

Thanks!

I couldn't choose just one of them. So, we're doing Chefs de France for lunch and Tutto Italia for dinner.

I have never been to Chefs but I love Tutto, the experince was very nice , the ambience, the service was good not rush in any way, the food was very good also,DH had the lasagna al forno (he is The Garfield of the family, loves lasagna) and likes big portions at the end he had the profiteroles (sp?) , he loved his meal. I had the Bucattini and love it very creamy, my dessert was one of the best Ive had in Disney it was a lemon sorbetti, very strong flavor but delicious, being from the caribbean Im used to lemon (since it grows everywhere) and the flavor was super autentic (craving one rigth now ). So my vote is for Tutto Italia. Hope this help a little!:)
:hippie:

We loved Tuttio Italia. I ordered an appetizer for my meal and it was fantastic. It was an antipasto platter and was huge. There were four of us and we all enjoyed it. DH had the casareci and really liked it. I don't remember what the other couple with us had, but everyone was happy with their food. My main reason for choosing Tutto was for the tiramsu. I love tiramisu and it did not disappoint.

We looked at the Chefs de France as a dining option. I've heard so many great things about it, but we were afraid it would be heavy food and sit in our gut for hours. Maybe we'll give it a try on a night when we have nothing planned and will be headed back to our resort to relax.

We had Tutto for dinner and Chefs for lunch. Maybe it's an unfair comparison since the dinner menus tend to be stronger than the lunch menu, but Chefs was completely underwhelming, while Tutto was great. The antipasto platter mentioned previously was really good, fresh, and huge. Salmon and short ribs were both pretty good.

Chefs was uninspiring - it's what you would be able to cook in your own house. I didn't feel there were any special ingredients or preparation. For example, the choices in the cheese plate seemed like what you would find in a supermerket and my veggie lasagna was just OK.

We've done both and prefer Tutto. Our meal at Chef's was OK, and Remy was fun, but the service was not good. We will never go back there. Our meal at Tutto was much better and we had a good server. The only complaint there was that DH thought his entree (lasagna) was too small. He doesn't like to still be hungry after eating at an Italian restaurant. But we are considering trying it again and just getting more appetizers.

We've done both and also prefer Tutto, but we like Italian food quite a bit anyway. Chefs was good, not great, we'll probably go back but we're in no hurry to return. We've been to Tutto a few times and enjoy everything we've tried from apps to desserts to drinks.

Tutto Italia was the most rushed meal I have every had anywhere in my life.

We were shown our seats, given our menus while our waiter stood there and waited for us to decide. Once we decided, he walked away and no exaggerating he came back in about 2 minutes with our meals. We had barely put our forks down when we were offered dessert. Because we were on the dining plan and it was included we ordered some. Again within about a minute it was brought over to us along with our check.

I think we were in and out in under a half hour.

Will never go back.

Had great service the one time we went to Chefs De France but the food was just ok. Tutto had better food, just no time to eat it and enjoy it.

Wow. We spent about two hours there, talking and taking our time enjoying our food. I wonder what was up the night you were there? Overbooked?

I would usually have thought overbooked but they were accepting Walk-Ups. I had made my 6:15 reservation 90 days (at that point the max ahead of time) before and they were taking walk-ups while we weren't seated until 6:30. Not too bad, but still when they're accepting walk-ups its a bit confusing. Then to be rushed through our meal. I don't know. It wasn't just us. It was happening to everyone there. Maybe because it was August? Or just a weird night.
