Does anyone know what the LATEST time that one can leave the ship during disembarkation (or is it called debarkation?). I need to schedule transportation to the airport. Our flight is at 3 PM so I want to leave the ship as late as possible to have the least amount of time in the airport with 4 year old grandson.

Thanks for your help!

They want everyone off the ship by 9 am to get ready for the next cruise.

You could consider a day room at the Hyatt....or go to Downtown Disney, the space center, or whatever.....

You are in the same situation we were with my DD4. Our flight out didn't leave until 3:30. We found ways at the airport to occupy our time - which was VERY shocking to me. I thought it was going to be a nightmare!

We shopped, ate lunch, played a lot of "eye spy" and toured the airport. Maddie was fine the entire time and so was I - we were very pleasantly surprised ::yes::

Good luck to you.

Oh another tip...if he has small computer toys or books that he is bringing - be sure to keep them out of the luggage and place them in your carry on as easy access....this was something that helped a lot also. ;)

I never heard of a "day" room. It might be what I need after my cruise. Which Hyatt has them?
Thanks!

Thank you all for your answers and information. I am sure we will be fine at the airport if I plan ahead with some diversions. Nicholas may be ready for some down time by then anyway!

The Hyatt at the Orlando Airport is the one often mentioned here concerning the day rooms.

the Hyatt right there at the airport has day rooms.... we checked in at 9:30 a.m. after our cruise, took showers, relaxed, checked in with SWA at 11am and got A boarding passes, went and picked up lunch, brought it back to our room and then took a nap, and checked out at 2pm for our 3pm flight!!!

other people have mentioned the swimming pool, we didn't have enough time!!!

I'd do it again next time we go too, beats spending 6 hours in the airport trying to entertain ourselves.
