Help! DBF doesn't want to go to Cirque!

Sorry, I have to side with the DBF on this one.

Please, for the love of all that is decent: allow DBF a night of DisneyQuest while you see Cirque!

Cirque is amazing. I have always wanted to go, and this fall I saw Varekai and going to see DELIRIUM. I would not want to miss La Nouba the next time I go. I just wish I would have seen more of the shows they offer, growing up just 45 mins south of their headquarters I missed a huge oppurtunity to see more of them.

I am one who did not care for LaNauba. Can't see how you can compare it to the Lon King Show Whole different ball of wax. But as said above either like or you don't it is not for everyone. I think it is way overpriced as well.

Only joking!! But seriously...I agree with the other posts, show him a video of one of the other Cirque shows & show him what an amazing show they put on. If he still disagrees...go alone & enjoy yourself!!

Thank you all for responding! Once he saw that I was "desperate" enough to post on here for ideas on how to get him to go he finally gave in...we own the DVD of Allegria and he enjoys it so I don't really know why he was so against it in the first place (I think he was just being a scrooge! ) But I think now he really sees how important it is to me, I can't wait!

So I was looking back over my old posts and this one made me laugh ...We went to see La Nouba and DBF absolutely LOVED it!!! Our seats were awesome...in the front row of the second section so lots of leg room and no heads in the way (DBF has long legs and I'm short so it worked out for both of us!) + the performers walked right in front of us as they came out ! Anyways-once things got "started" he was speechless-he told me that he was sorry he fought with me to go , that it was "SO much more awesome in person than on the TV", and that next to Boma (where he pigged out on zebra domes and ribs) it was his favorite experience of the entire trip ! So if anyone checks this post looking for a way to get someone else to go, tell them that you read about a certain grump on the Disboards that ended up eating his words!

Hahaha, I saw the title of this post and I thought, "Hey I think I posted on that. Wonder if someone was going through the oldstuff and wanted an Update as to how it went?" LOL turns out to be you! funny, We went in June and it was a great performance for us too! Glad to hear it went well.
