I could really use some help making this decision. I am trying to decide between CRT or maybe the alternative of doing either just 1900 Park Fare, or a combo of 1900 and Akershus. DD's absolute favorite princess is Cinderella, so I would really like to do a "Cinderella" meal, but she also likes all the other princesses. We had lunch at WDW at Akershus on her 1st trip and she loved it (luckily Cinderella was there). Because of the 4/3 deal and the fact that grandparents on each side wanted separate WDW trips with us while she was still little, her 2nd trip will be within a year of her 1st. She was 2 the first time, and will be 3 the second. I know the castle would be a big deal to her as she kept asking if she could go in it on the 1st trip and I know how she would like meeting more than 1 princess, but she is a HUGE stepsister Anastasia fan so I think she would love 1900 Park Fare too. I would love some opinions on what to do.

I have three princess lovers (plus myself), so we are hoping to do all three! Akershrus for Breakfast, CRT for breakfast (on my DD actual birthday) and 1900 for dinner.

My husband and son are being tolerant! Going to Chef Mickey's to please DS.

I would choose 1900 and Akershus. We did both Akershus and CRT on the last trip and I really didn't feel CRT offered that much more "specialness" to be that much more money. We saw just as many princesses at Akershus and the pace of the meal was more relaxed. And if you have a Cinderella-lover in the group - you'll get to see her at 1900.

I haven't been to 1900 yet (I want to try it!) - maybe someone else can chime in - do you get more Cinderella time at 1900 than you do at CRT? We just got a picture with Cinderella at CRT and then off to breakfast, Since Cinderella comes around to the tables at 1900, do you feel like you get more time with her?

I also had a little girl who said she wanted to go in the castle. She said this on our last trip - so on this trip, I planned CRT. The novelty of being in the castle wore off real quick! To my girls, it was just a lovely restaurant and they got to see princesses. The characters make the meal for my girls so they got just as much charge out of Akershus.

Well, I can't compare, as we haven't done CRT before - BUT, 1900 Park was the FAVE meal of everyone in our group (ranging from a 2yo up to grandparents)!

It was far and away the BEST character interaction we had the entire trip (also did Akershus, and found it to be a decent way to quickly see each princess and grab a quick pic, but that's all). Each character (Cinderella, Prince Charming, both of the stepsisters, and Lady Tremaine who was FANTASTIC!) spent *real* time with both of my girls. My dd#1 even got to dance with Prince Charming!

Add to that the fact that our experience with the food was quite good - my Dad still talks about it as his favorite FOOD of the trip too! And we will DEFINITELY be making a return visit on our next trip! We're even pondering breakfast in the castle, but still planning on dinner at 1900!

So . . . I guess you could say we're fans! ;)

All three!!

We went when DD was 2 but couldn't get into any of those for any meal during our stay. (I didn't know all this info I know now!)

Now DD will be just turned 3 and LOVES all of the princesses. I have no idea who her favorite is. Maybe Cinderella?!?!

I say she's only little once. And who knows when we will go back. We are planning on 2010 but you just never know. So I'm doing all 3. She will have a blast!

We did 1900PF & Akershus on our last trip and I'm really glad we did. CRT obviously has the CASTLE advantage, but I really think that's about it. 1900PF was hands-down our favorite character meal. The food, atmosphere, and character interaction were all great. I just posted these pictures in another thread, but here they are again:

Have a great trip!

IMO it is worth it to do the castle 1x.....

If you don't I would choose.....Akershus....my favorite...and 1900 to guarantee Cinderella. Both of these would cost the same as CRT on the DDP.
Happy planning

We did Akershus and CRT on our last trip. They were both fantastic with CRT being a real highlight. Next time (September) we are doing both again and adding 1900 PF.

we've done all 3. akershus is a must do every trip! we only like the breakfast though. CRT is OK, memorable b/c it is in the castle, a must do at least once, but not every trip. we did 1900 PF for dd's 5th bday. it was wonderful. i don't care for buffets too much, but the character interaction was great. cindy brought her out her bday cake and sang happy bday to her. priceless!

i'd do 1900 and akershus if it were me, instead of wasting 2 credits each, or the $, on CRT.

but since she hasn't done CRT, it would be special for her!
