Ok, our window opens Saturday (two days!) and I think I have my order down on what to book first, but we are trying a couple new places so I am not sure! This is the order I was thinking of booking...

1. BOG lunch (towards the end of our trip for better luck?)
2. CRT dinner (also towards the end of our trip, same day as BOG...trying for a "princess day". This is the one we HAVE to have, which makes me wonder if I should try for this first and forget about trying for BOG? thoughts?)
3. Ohana very early dinner...like 330. (if unavailable, we will go for crystal Palace)
4. 1900 Park Fare- around 7pm. (a little more important that Ohana, but I think less popular so I bumped it after)
5. Boma early, like 4:30 (this one is new, not sure how hard it is to get? If unavailable, will go with Tusker House)
6. Chef Mickeys late breakfast/brunch. whatever time, this is last day of trip.

The last two we are wanting are Candlelight processional package Biergarten lunch and Fantasmic Package Hollywood and Vine any time. But neither of these are released yet...so if they are released within the next two days...not sure where to put them?!? Never booked a dining package before!!!

ANY advice would be appreciated!!!!

I think Boma will be the easiest. Sounds like CRT is important, so maybe go for that one 1st.good luck!

Ok so maybe put Chef Mickey's in front of Boma?! Yes CRT is the most important, I just wasn't sure if I would have a better shot at both if I put BOG first! Our last trip I got every single thing we wanted, so I am hoping for the same luck this trip!

You can go play around on the ADR system (practice) to see what's available for earlier in December... I searched several random days...Boma was always available, 1900 sometime, Chef Mickey never (on the 4 random dates I searched)

My TA got us an 8am BOG, BBB, and CRT lunch all in the same day for our princess day. She booked it today for 12/18 (so towards the end of our trip). Those were the 1st 3 reservations she went for.

I would do it like this:
  • CRT (because you want dinner, and it's small)
  • Ohana (because you want a specific time and Ohana has been tough this fall+)
  • BOG (because the lunch service period actually has a large number of spots; easiest meal to book so long as you're at 180+)
  • Chef Mickey
  • 1900PF
  • drink some coffee
  • Boma

Ok that makes me feel much better. Question...do we have to call for BBB? We were wanting to do it on the same day as well....

Ok great that makes sense! I guess I really don't have to worry about boma huh? Haha!

Anyone have advice on the dinner packages? Never done them...do they go crazy fast?

I'd hop on the packages when released as quickly as possible. CP can go fast, even before they announce narrators.

Yes. Candlelight Dinner packages go crazy fast. Fantasmic fast, but less so.

Oh man hopefully I see when they get announced!! Is it usually early morning? I can check every morning if that's the case!
