Help! Cracked screen on mac laptop!

DD had a 13" mac laptop and the screen cracked. We went to the apple store only to find out they wanted $700 to repair it. She wound up buying a new one. I was looking around for someplace that would replace the screen more reasonably, and keep the laptop for myself. I found one site, called Mission Repair, that would charge about $200. Anyone heard of this company, or have positive results with another repair service? Thanks for any information.

My screen is cracked too! HP wanted 600 dollars to fix mine as well. So not worth it! I haven't heard of the site you mentioned. I've just been living with it. Good luck to you!

Depends on what type you wanted, you can get a new lap top for not much more than that. I paid $1999 for my silver macbook pro about 2 years ago.

My son got a Gateway for Christmas & his screen crack about 3 months ago. He is still able to use it & I don't think I'm going to get it fixed $$$
