HELP!!! CR or CBR at the end of SEPT.????

We are planning to go to WDW for our DISNEYMOON from 9-28 to 10-6, we will be getting married in Palm Beach on the 27th. We are spending a fortune there for 3 nights. The question is, do we splurge and stay at the CR or be a little frugal and stay at CBR. I have so many fond memories as a child at the CR, and it is soooo close to the MK. We will be going to MNSSHP and having our honeymoon photo session there as well. The CBR is also very nice just far away , but sooo much cheaper. We will also be attending the Food and Wine Fest. I just need some advise or justification as we are finalizing our plans. I would appreciate any info!!! TIA!!!! The differance is around 1,200 $$.

For your Disneymoon? CR all the way! Heck if you can splurge for 14th floor concierge!!! you have to go all out, man! totally!

I say splurge and go for a CR tower room. Doesn't have to be concierge but heck...it IS your honeymoon and the convenience of staying at CR can't be beat.

Either way, no matter what you choose you'll have a wonderful and magical time

For your Disneymoon!! Go for CR!! Go all out!! How many times will you have your very first Disneymoon? CR TOWER for sure!!

Oh my gosh, totally do the CR or maybe even WL 9 maybe a little cheaper). I know everyone wants to be practical but you only get married once(hopefully). Splurge now you won't regret it.

While you only get one honeymoon....you also have to have money for the rest of your life. WE had a great wedding ourselves, but in retrospect, it is easy to get carried away with the silly little extras under the "You only Do it Once" banner...there is a HUGE wedding industry making lots of money in this country using this very tactic. WE would have done better to have saved s more of our money and had a more modest wedding!
We were a bit more practical on our honeymoon, and I don't regret it one bit! We had a great time,on a small budget.
...there is a lot of life to live AFTER the honeymoon, and big expenses to go with it!
It would have been a whole lot easier if we'd had saved more of that money for our down payment! Whatever you do, DO NOT put yourself in debt to pay for this honeymoon! REality is, debt ruins many a marriage!
One of the things I love about Disney is that there are layers, and different amounts that you can spend...but if you are a little more frugal now, you'll have something to look forward to on your next trip, and a reason to come back. You'll have room to upgrade for next trip.
Again, I say, if staying at CR will put you into credit card debt, it would be a HUGE mistake, IMHO!

If you have the $$$ to swing it, definitely book the Contemporary! But mickeyluv'r is right that you shouldn't go into debt over it. Whatever you choose, I'm sure you'll have a great honeymoon. Best wishes!
