I've been reading the posts here for about the last week on this topic. Some people had bad luck with Cartier on their return trips - and the same for Happy Limo. (Whom I had decided to use until a recent post. I thought if they were good for Mary Waring at Mousesavers, they'd be good for me!) I've also seen some unhappy posts with FL Tours and Tiffany. What's a girl to do when she's never hired a service to transport her family in the WDW area before?

I did a search on google and came up with some names that I hadn't seen or heard about here before... Bay Hill Transportation... Murray Hill Transportation... Prestige Town Car. Just like at WDW there seems to be way too many choices for me! Help!!

Can anyone point me in any one direction instead of the circles I seem to be finding? Thanks so much!

In the few years that I've been following the boards, it seems that the various towncar companies go in and out of favor. For a while everyone will be complaining about Happy Limo and then a couple of months later, there will be only good posts about Happy Limo and everyone is complaining about Tiffany. We've used Tiffany for the last 3 years (4 trips) and will be using them again tomorrow. We haven't had any trouble with them.

I guess what I'm saying is to just pick one and it will probably be fine. Remember that people are much more likely to complain about a bad experience than to comment on an acceptable one.

Good luck!

I agree with "coll0610". Just pick one of the ones you read about and it will probably be ok.

I do think that one of the OP gave a unfair report about FL Tours concerning charges for gate fees to MK resorts.

All other things being equal (and they aren't) I would probably give FL Tours the first try. They do advertise on the DIS boards and this helps support this very fine service. However, there are many other towncar services which are good as well.

Dana, as coll0610 said, few will post good reviews for good service. But, here is what Tracie posted on 9/25/03 about FL Tours, "We used a Fl ToursLimo and a van for a 3 leg trip this past June. Also a surprise for our and our friend's children. The Limo was wonderful!! Very nice, clean and beautiful! All of the kids thought the limo was great! My boys still talk about the Limo ride as much as WDW and US/IOA. Andy was great! He was early picking us up, told us to take our time taking pictures before getting in the car, took care of all the luggage and remembered that I had mentioned the DIS in my email to him. The call to our hotel room the day before we left was very nice and not something I had received from TTC. I am using FL Tours for my next trip in Oct. and I'm sure I will receive the same great service.

We used the limo for the first leg of our trip and a van for the other 2. The look on the faces of those 4 kids was well worth the extra $, for us."

There are some good reviews for Tiffany, Cartier, etc.

Good luck and enjoy.

Thank you Coll0610 and WDWistheBest for your comments. You are so right that people would tend to put the negative before the positive. I've enjoyed reading the numerous posts and appreciate everyone's help!

We always use tiffany and have never had a problem. I would just say that a towncar would only hold 4 people comfortably and if you have 5 or more you would need a van. We have never gotten an actual "limo". But I guess it all depends on your family size etc.
