We typically only do Disney, but DH has talked me into a quick trip to Orlando, with some days at Disney, and I really want to spend a day at Epic, too. We would be flying in on a Sunday night (arriving just after midnight Monday, actually) and I have a ton of Best Western points so was thinking of the one by Universal. We would be checking out and heading to our Disney portion on Tuesday AM.

1) Best way to get there? Rental car at that time of night seems not easy. Are rideshares available 24/7 at MCO? Maybe a taxi would be better? It's the coming in so late that throws me....
2) Getting to Epic - ride share? Public transport? Walk to a Universal hotel and take the bus?
3) Is Epic worth the extra $500 or so this will cost? Tickets are like 300, food, ride share, etc.

If you don't get responses here maybe post under the Universal Resorts / Parks forum. This forum is under the big heading Universal Orlando / SeaWorld and might attract more posters posting about Epic Universe.

Ride share, they're available pretty much any time from MCO. You could put the locations and check a few weeknights at that time if you want to confirm.

Ride share or Universal bus. Or you could do one direction each. How close is the hotel to the Universal hotel? The buses do get to park right up close to the entrance & have a bus lane to skip most traffic on the way.

Very subjective, plus dependent on your budget & what you want to get out of it. And when you're going. Right now a lot of rides have been very hit and miss for reliability. The theming is top notch & the shows are good.

You also could look for a Best Western closer to Epic.
