Okay, hopefully someone can set my mind at ease.

We signed up via GAD for our local Project Linus chapter and hand-delivered our blankets to the coordinator last Tuesday, February 2nd. She checked the blankets and indicated she would enter our completion that night.

Today, I checked our account status and it indicated that our volunteer opportunity was verified as NOT COMPLETED!

I e-mailed her this morning and she apologized and said that she just went in and updated us.

Anyone have a similar experience? When I checked last week it said we were waiting for verification. It worries me that it said we were verified as not completed, as opposed to still being pending.

It sounds like initially the organization accidentally submitted the wrong information, but now has fixed it. If so, your account should update within a few more days. If things don't get straightened out within two weeks, there's always the Disney number you can call.

I found the training info here (scroll down to the video about verification) very helpful in seeing what the process looks like from the organization's side. http://www.handsonnetwork.org/disney/training. As you can see, for each name on the list, the organization has to choose "attended" or "no show" from a drop down menu. Mistakes are possible, and there's a process for them to submit corrections. I'd guess this is what happened in your case.

Thanks for the info!

I just checked our account and we are showing as "Pending Verification" again, so it looks like it is in the process of being corrected.:yay:

We were pending verification for almost 4 weeks. Got our vouchers last week from Jan 7. The place we volunteered was overwhelmed and is no longer listed. We also did project linus blankets and received that voucher in a couple of days.

UPDATE

I checked my account today and my vouchers were ready to be printed!!!:cool1:

We had planned to donate the voucher for DS13, but with the announcement about the Main St. Electrical Parada coming back this summer, my wife just called to say hold off on donating his ticket!
