We won an auction for a stay at OKW from March 25 to April 2. Now I need to purchase airline tickets, but I can't find a good rate. Will the rates come down? Or, will they just continue to go up?

Does anyone have the lowdown on good rates out of Cleveland? I could also fly out of Akron/Canton airport. Which airline is best out of these airports?

I'm getting nervous. Did I miss the opportunity for good rates?

I think Continental is your best choice, flying out of Akron wont save you that much money. Its going to be expensive because you will be flying during spring-break.

My uncle flies Airtran out of Akron-Canton, and seems to get good deals.

I found southwest for 161 r/t, but the times are not great. Oops that's one way. Continental is about the same.

sorry.

Cleveland to Orlandos rate seems to never go down when Im looking.
If I find tickets for $250.00 per person or less. Ive done good.

What about the ding program through SouthWest (I think)
Does anyone know more about that??

My friend found less expensive tickets buying 2 one way tickets.

I can never get a good deal on airline tickets. This year we are driving.
Then well have our car while were there. The drive is going to be 16 1/2 hours from Cleveland!! Not counting stops.

Laura,

How many people in your group and when are you going? We had a group of 11 flying last year and got 186 r/t through Continental group sales. The beauty of this is the rate is locked in, but you don't have to pay all until a month before, so if you can find lower rates, they will change the rates for you (you have to ask) Also, a friend of mine got great rates through airtran (180).

We're going down in July and weren't able to find any good prices out of Cleveland or Akron Canton :confused3 . So I bought tickets out Pittsburgh for $184 r/t. Tickets on Continental out of Hopkins were $313 r/t and tickets out of Akron Canton were $274 r/t.(unless we waited until check in to choose seats, and with 2 DD my DH and I didn't want to risk being separated on the plane). So, Pittsburgh it is !

I got tickets through USA 3000 for $69 each way, plus $5 off each way with a coupon code. they only fly out on MWF and the times aren't the best, but you can give them a try.

They canceled a bunch of flights on people recently, but it seems that...
Nevermind--I did a search and they don't fly on one of your days, and the prices are much higher than I paid.

Go continental, the flight times are great, and I haven't heard too many people complain about them--whoa! they're prices are $350 per person.

Yuck!

Maybe you can drive? We did it and had lots of fun. :teeth: Good luck! :wizard:
