Help! Ck In on Sun-OKW won't verify ressie

I have a split stay starting tomorrow. First half on free dining at CSR, second half on rented points at OKW. I have always heard that the DVC resort can verify the reservation 4 days before arrival. I called OKW this am and they stated that they cannot verify the reservation to anyone but the DVC owner prior to check-in. Is this correct? Do I just show up and hope for the best???
Please help!
I do not think the DVC owner would do anything shady-I just want to verify my reservation before I get all the way to Orlando.

Just call back a couple of different times to the resort itself. It's likely you'll get someone who will do what you want/need. Just call and give them the reservation number and name and say you want to make sure all is in order. Don't even get in to renting, etc. The KISS principle.
