Hi everyone:
We will be disneymooning the end of next week following our wedding. We rented points for SSR and plan on getting discount tickets from mousesavers newsletter and the DDP. After that we will not have alot of $$ to throw around which leads to my question....
....
What are your favorite Cheap or Free things to do in the world?

I can use all the help I can get asap!

Thanks everyone!

We just returned 9/30 from a stay at WDW. We stayed at the Boardwalk and during the evenings there are free magicians and jugglers that perform until about 10pm. They walk up and down the Boardwalk and do shows every 10 minutes or so. It was fun, entertaining and FREE!!!

We spend hours in the World Showcase watching the World Showcase Players, Off Kilter, the performers in the American Adventure, etc.

Don't forget riding in the front of the monorail.

And many times, just plain ole' people-watching is the most entertaining pass-time in all of WDW. Find a bench or a rocking chair (I know lots of good ones). Just don't laugh too loud!

I love the camp fire at Fort Wilderness. You get to watch a movie under the stars and see the chipmunks. You don't have to have kids to enjoy it! popcorn::

People watching in DD is lots of fun. Sometimes they have bands or other entertainment on the stage at DD as well. It's always free.

Have fun! :teeth:

Hi FutureBrideof Mike,

I am posting a link to Free or cheep things to do at WDW and around I hope you enjoy some on your DHM,
Best wishes on a wonderful wedding, DHM and life together

Free and Cheep stuff to do

Make sure you go to see each park's late-night shows. MGM's Fantasmic is my favorite, but I also hear that Epcot's Illuminations is really great too. Pretty much any show in any of the parks will be fun.

If the OP is being cheap or free, I doubt they're going to be in the park to see the entertainment.

The OP said they are buying park tickets from the discount link in the Mousesavers newsletter. I can't imagine them buying the tickets and not using them.

We rented a kayak from the marina at Port Orleans Riverside - it was less than $10 for 1/2 hour and I really enjoyed it.

Go to http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/faq_hot.htm and scroll down the list on the left side of the screen - it is all alphabetical - and start clicking on Overlooked attractions at the resorts. You might find something of interest.

The Electric Water pageant is free and fun to watch. See: http://babmt.com/activity-electricwaterpageant.html

At the Boardwalk, the cover at Jellyrolls is only $5 per person. See: http://babmt.com/activity-nightlife.html

Go see the Geyser at the Wilderness lodge.

No ticket required to get into Raglan Road in Downtown Disney and the live music starts around 8:30pm. I don't know if there is a cover or if they'll let you in for the price of a drink.
