Help can't ecide Poly or Swan/Dolphin

Ok all you pros bear with me on this one:
We have a land sea cruise booked through DU where we are staying at Poly
I have been reading these boards since I booked cruise but for some reason missed the part (duh me) where you can get a discount room at Swan/Dolphin if you are a nurse which I am. Everyone talks about how the land/sea is cheaper if you book seperately and I think I'm starting to see that. So here's my choice to make. Stay with my ressie with DU for Poly or switch to book cruise with AAA and stay at Swan/Dolphin once nurse rates come out.
I haven't factored in the $$ issue but I definitly think it will come out saving us money or close to even. So basically my question is Poly or Swan/Dolphin

We have stayed at both. At the sawn we get the govt. disc. At the poly once we also did the land/sea package. I really dont know how the logistics of that works if you do just the sea only part yourself. I know they had all the documents in a folder for us and stuff we had to review etc. So who would you submit that to and our luggage had to be outside our door really early for pickup. Are you going to the port yourselves etc.? If it was about the same price I would definetely pick the poly hands down, can you see my tag? If it was a major amount of money and finances were important to you in saving money, then go for the swan.

It seems that every time I have priced things out vs. a package, booking travel seperately outside of a package wins hands down. I think DU will book the land and sea portion seperately if you ask them too and you can see if it comes out better for you dollar wise. You will come out better with the Swan/Dolphin nurse discount rate over Poly. I've never seen the Poly for 149.00 a night!!

DU just booked our stay at the Swan with the govt. discount, and we loved it! I'm sure they can get you the AAA rate for the cruise and DU may be able to put together a package for you that includes the Swan. Our agent at DU was great! The Swan has a great location and is a newly renovated deluxe.

I have stayed at both properties and enjoyed them equally. I would try to find the best deal and go for it.
