Help! Can I make reservations?

Hey Gang!

Going to WDW in March. I know it's a busy time, but it's all we can do schedule wise. Had planned on staying on site, but found out we can stay for free at Fairfield Inn & Suites in the Marriott Village. So, that's where we'll be for six nights. At WDL, you can only make advanced dining reservations if you are staying at park and have a package. Can you make reservations at WDW in advance if you aren't staying on site? It is a good neighbor hotel, but we booked through Marriott with my husband's points.

The ADR system is currently being upgraded. As of right now you can book up through February 22 for all restaurants except for Chef Mickey, Cinderella's Royal Table and Victoria & Albert's. (I'll explain those three later)

Beginning on November 21 you will be able to book for February 23-May 20.

November 21 is significant because that is the date the ADR system will be up and running and they will open the ADR window to 180 days.

The exceptions noted above remain at 180 days throughout this process because they are not affected by the ADR system upgrade.

As far as staying off-site, you can reserve at 180 days from your date of dining at any Disney Restaurant. Those staying on-site can reserve from 180 days of check in for the first 10 days of their vacation. You don't get that perk, so you'll be calling every day.

I booked Chef Mickey today for dinner on March 19th.
The lovely CM advised me to start checking around Nov 1st to see if they have opened up for all the other restaurants,as they are hoping it will be before the currently announced date.
