:well i got the phonecall i was hoping for and on thursday i will be booking to go to dlp for my birthday !!!!:banana::banana::banana:

seeing as this trip was originally scheduled for March I am a tad excited and not sure what to do

we are going either the 1st or 2nd december but can pnly go for 3 nights
If i phone eurostar will they be able to book indirect eurostar for the 1st or will i be better going for the 2nd ?

Also in March with the weather hoping to be better i wasnt too bothered about hotels but as its winter would it be better booking sequoia and having a pool etc incase the weather is bad and the parks shut earlier

also I am thinking about character meals is it better to book a half board plan or get the shareholders card ?

with everyone going on about less and less characters im thinking that it may be the only way to see any

the one they really wanted to do was cowboy cookout - is that weather dependant ??

i know its a lot of questions but as i said i am a little excited and unprepared

Congratulations :goodvibes

Not sure what you mean here - do you mean the days of the week that those dates fall on? Phoning Eurostar will be the best way to get the cheapest price before it's released on the website.

Sequoia is said to be lovely in winter. I think the pools tend to be quite cold though, at most times of the year so not sure how much use you'd get from it.

I think shareholders card is best option. You get a straight 15% off all table service restaurants, meaning you're not restricted to certain menus or end up paying for food you won't eat.

No, it's inside

i know its a lot of questions but as i said i am a little excited and unprepared

Happy planning :)

The hotels are lovely at Christmas, especially the log fires at SL but the pools are chilly!! :cloud9:

Shareholders card every time, saves you 15% and you get discount on your shopping too!!

I try and fit in a character meal each day for precisely this reason!

That meal isn't showing as available after November 7th - I know as I was going to book it!!

Let us know how you get on with your booking!! :thumbsup2

thanks guys it is sooo exciting especially as i am not telling the kids til the day before heehee

in terms of eurostar i was going to give them a call tomorrow as i realised that the 1st of december is a saturday so i know a direct service doesnt run does that mean i wont be able to book for the saturday ?

also is it worth mentioning that its my birthday on the phone or emailing the hotel before i go ??
