I have always planned a trip for my family of five, however I am now planning a trip for my 22 year old daughter and three of her friends. How can we go about each paying individually for park tickets, room and then book all fp+ ressies at once. I know this may be tough to explain, but I'm just not sure how to go about booking with four credit cards and scheduling everything as one group.

Are you staying onsite? My group trip was, so thats's my only real experience with this. If you're booking room and tickets through DIsney, that's a package, which requires $200 down payment per room at booking. I'd suggest being together at the time you make the call to reserve your room and you can ask the phone CM to put a certain amount on each person's card. I'm not sure if a deposit can be put on different cards online.

You can put each person's name on the reservation(s). Once you have the room reservation, you can share your login information so that everyone can see reservation details. Each person can click the "make a payment" button on the reservation to pay their own portion up until 45 days ahead of your trip, when the full balance is due.

If you're all on one reservation, your Fastpass selections will be very easy - just click each person's name on the FP screens and choose your rides. Youtube has some good video walkthroughs of the process if you want to see what the screens look like ahead of time. If you gave more than one reservation, with different people listed as the "owner" with theirs an MDE account, then you just need to list each other as Friends and Family in MDE & you'll have the ability to see and make plans for each other.

On your trip, I'm not sure if you can put multiple credit cards on your room to be used for food or souvenirs charged on your magic bands. If not, you can still ask at the front desk for an itemized list of room charges and it will indicate whose magic band made each purchase. then you can add them up and ask to pay that piece of your charges with any credit card, cash, or gift card you like. Each level of resort has different spending limits before they'll automatically put everything on your credit card on file, so you'll want to make sure to do any sub-payments before those limits are reached.

Hope that helps.

We have done this several times. It can get tricky. We did some 3 party calls so that the guest could give their own cc info.

One way to do this is to get the $ total and then just figure out the costs for each added guest. They can then pay their portion of the bill.

We also linked my MDE account and I added them on to My Family &Friends List.. That allowed FP+ to be added once they their tickets. Many times friends get tickets from an outside source but they can still be linked to MDE.

Getting ADRs can be tricky with really large groups but yours sounds manageable. If you do decide to do in smaller groups be aware that the system will think you are double booking meals. Often times I have to call and explain what I am trying to do so the meals can be booked in different places at nearly the same times.

Too much togetherness can be a disaster so make sure all parties stay communicative and everyone gets heard. People have different ideas of a perfect vacation and it is hard to meet everyones expectations, especially with all the pre-planning now required!

Have a wonderful trip and take lots of photos!

I am currently planning a trip for 11. I had no problem getting ADR's for our group together for all restaurants except Beaches & Cream. 11 was too many people for one ADR for that restaurant and it wouldn't let me split the group on my own MDE account because it said I had an ADR at that time already. What I did was make one ADR in my MDE account and the other in my Dad's MDE account. All of our group is linked in both accounts. Of course, you need the CC # for the second account. You could do this with your daughters account. Just make sure to assign the correct people to the ADR.

I have a novel solution. You can open a Disney Vacation Account, which is basically an online saving account provided by Disney. You can make deposits into this account for any amount with any credit card, debit card, or a Disney Gift Card. You can then use this account (which is basically a gift card number) to pay for your onsite reservations, park tickets and meal plans if desired. Here is a link to DVA: https://disneyvacationaccount.disney.go.com/ (I use mine to consolidate gift cards bought to get fuel perks into one easy to manage payment system)

As for the ADRs and FP+ these should be no problem. You can have each person set their own MDE account, or have one person manage them all, as long as they list each other as friends or family linking and sharing ADRs and FP+ etc won't be an issue. I often create ADRs for myself and people who I travel with who have their own MDE. Hope this helps
