I will be booking 225 FP+s at midnight this Sunday night! Yikes! 15 people, 5 days!

I have the attractions everyone wants and the order/time to do them all in. It took lot's of planning! No one else in my group has a clue or the interest in figuring out how to plan a Disney trip- but everyone is excited about going and very appreciative that I have taken on this challenge so we can have this "dream come true" so it's ok.

Everyone is linked to my MDE and I have control over all of their plans. None of them could figure out how to create a MDE account.

We only have a few things we all want to do together and the rest I have different groups going to different attractions in relatively the same areas.

Anyone have any advice on how to go about booking all of these without losing my mind?

I'm trying to talk my teenage daughter into staying up and helping me that evening.

Beginning Sunday, you'll be able to book for the specific sub groupings of your party.

On certain days, will you be booking all 15 people for some rides and small subgroups for other rides?

Last summer, I had to do 8 days, 22 people! And for 4th of July week. Stressful - good luck!

We have 4 attractions we will all do together over the 5 day period. The rest of the time our group will be split up due to different interests, but I tried to keep us all in the same area of the park so we couild meet back up easily. I am also hoping to schedule each day's initial 3 FP+ within a 4 hour window so that everyone has some flexibility in their day too.

Prior to selection day, be sure everyone is on your friends list. Pick your three attractions for the day and accept whatever time they give you. Then go in and switch all to the times that actually work for you - nail down the attraction first. THEN - for anyone who doesn't want to ride the big rides, etc, change those after. I found that to be the easiest way to get it all done. make sense?

Okay, on the days when you have the full group for a ride, do that one first to see if you can book for all 15 at once. Then, do the subgroup bookings.

I have 4 tickets in my MDE and will probably check out the new FP procedures on Sunday. I'll let you know what the new screens entail. @subtchr takes school groups to the parks; hopefully she's on and will be able to share.

The FP system changes on Sunday. You'll be able to choose an attraction and then select a specific ride time. The system will no longer present 4 "options."

How many "groups" within your group do you have?

For the past two years, I have booked FP for our school group (150 people) for 3 day trips. We had them set up in 12 different groups of various sizes. We had 12 different MDE accounts. The good news is although we didn't need all of the groups to have the same exact FP windows, most were able to overlap and that was booking 30 days out. In my case, I was going into each account and booking the passes instead of doing them in one shot.

So since you have control of all plans, when you log in you should be able to see all 15 of your travel mates. When you select the 3 FP you want to book on a particular day then you will be able to either select all in the group, or just check the ones who will be doing that set of passes. Then select the FP for the next (groups)

If you are doing any of the very popular rides or meet & greets, book those days/rides first.

It does sound like the new system will be easier now that you can name the rides and the times.

The hardest thing I found about the process was figuring out how to print out the listing of FP once I was done.

Good luck!!!

:goodvibes

My groupings vary greatly. Not always the same people for the smaller groups. For example on one of our Magic Kingdom days we all plan to ride Peter Pan together, then 4 will ride Space Mountain, 11 Small World, 9 Dumbo, and 6 Mine Train.

Is there still a "copy" option? Would it be best to pick one person in each of the smaller groups and book for them, then copy it the other's in the group?

Last time I did FP+ was 2 years ago, there were only 5 of us and we all did the same things.

Also, I know you can't have FP+ that overlap with each other, but can FP+ overlap with meal reservations? For example we have a reservation at Crystal Palace at 12:00, will it let me book a FP+ between 11:30-12:30?

Copying is worse than choosing exactly who needs the FP at time of booking. According to all the info being posted, the system will allow you to choose each member of the subgroup who needs the FP.

The system will warn you that you have a Dining reservation but won't keep you from booking the FPs.

You're welcome! If the booking windows are quite different on Sunday, I'll PM some screenshots to you.
