Have any other vegetarians ever eaten there? What did you do?

I believe they can accomodate a vegetarian with advance notice, but I have no idea what meal they offer. Might be worth calling Disney Dining to find out what is on the menu before you arrange for it just in case it's something she doesn't care for.

There is another restaurant on property and for the life of me, I can't remember the name of it. I've been told that your server can go there & get you veggies.

The other restaurant would be "Trails End." They share a kitchen with Hoop de Do. They offer macncheese and other veggies. I am sure HoopdeDo could run you some of their food over. Gl:thumbsup2

I've eaten there many times because it's a family favorite, and I've never had any problems getting vegetarian food. Basically, you can call to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue ahead of time, or probably even let them know when you check in, and definitely talk to your server as well. If you can't figure out how to call the Hoop Dee Doo yourself, I'd recommend going to guest services in whatever park you're in the day of your reservation first thing in the morning and telling them your situation and asking what needs to happen to request a vegetarian meal for that night.

They've always given me a pretty boring plate of pasta with marinara sauce and some mix of vegetables. Not my favorite food ever, but it was edible, and vegetarian. I also never tried requesting a specific food, just something vegetarian, but according to what I've read here you can probably request anything that is on the buffet at Trails End next door.

Here's the number to call for special requests

Even if you don't call they will do their best to accommodate you, but if you call in advance not only is it easier for them, you will have more options.

Thanks, everybody.:thumbsup2 Pasta with marinara or mac and cheese would be her first choices for food. I'll give a call ahead of time, too, to see if it can be arranged.
