Help...Best flight deals from Maine, NH, Mass.?

Looking for the best deal closest to home, so far nothing in Canada is looking great. Very much early stages of planning, very flexible with dates, March, April, May, just not around Easter!! Been there, done that!! LOL
I'm interested in good websites to keep checking, any info would be great. TIA

I've gotten rates of $79 each way Manchester to Orlando in the past so you can check them: southwest.com

They are currently booking through March 12, 2010 but on Oct. 13 will open up flights through May 7, 2010.

We fly regularly out of Portland and find the rates very comparable to Boston and Manchester. My last several flights (one-way prices) have been $84 (Nov), $74 (Sept.) and $84 (Sept.). Non-stop out of Portland is wonderful as well. I would recommend and prefer JetBlue non-stop, but often Airtran has cheaper seats and non-stop flights on Saturdays. To find these prices, I use the airlines websites and I also use www.yapta.com to track the prices.

I agree with Waseller and like JetBlue the best. Nonstop out of Portland or Boston in late April/early may might be the best time for lower fares. Outbound flights Logan to MCO were $94, but return flights were $189. This was a Thursday April 23 and returned on a Saturday May 2. There were cheaper return flights later in that week, but we had to come back on Saturday as it was the end of vacation.

Don't know much about March. I know from March through April is a lot of Spring Break stuff and Easter so that could impact fare prices. I didn't watch those though.

I got this Ding today from Southwest.
There'll probably be more as time goes on, but I haven't seen anything that far in advance.

I agree that late April or anytime in May would be a good time to go. Airfare should be cheaper. We are going Feb 27 and we got airfare from Delta for $265 pp rt out of Portland. We like to get to WDW early and get home late so the non stops don't work for us. If you are flexible on your days and times, the non stops on JetBlue or Airtran would be great.

You can use Kayak.com to help you. Type in the airport and days and it will show you the prices from all the airlines from there with the prices. Good luck!

Sign up for the daily email from Airfarewatchdog.com. Put PWM (Portland, ME) or MHT (Manchester, NH) in as your home airport, and they'll send you a daily list of sale fares. I frequently see fares around $200 to MCO.

Wow, great feedback. Now, if I can find a great enough deal, and if the proposed 4/3 deal returns, potential is there to convince the family to buckle down and save for WDW!!! Yahoo.
