HELP-Anyone who joined Connections, canceled then re-joined before next trip. READ

I'm getting desperate!!!!!!!!!!

I joined Connections just to look over the program back in 10/02. Canceled. Now I have read so much about using vouchers in WDW I'd like to re-join. It seems (at least I'm being told this by Connections) that you cannot join Connections twice through LILLIAN VERNON using the same name, credit card, or even zip code!!!
On 8/11 I joined using the same info as my first membership. Did not go through. So on 8/22- Connections employee told me to try again using different name (DH's), and credit card. They should have rec'd this enrollment but .........no record of it. Now a Connections supervisor told me that I cannot re-join through LV even if I use a different name and credit card because the address of my DH's credit card will be the same as mine. ARRRGH!!
I am at my whit's end!!!

I know I've read of DISers who join through LV over and over....how do they do it????

PLEASE HELP!! I am only 30 days away from my trip and I've planned several meals (Including a great one at RFC) around having vouchers from Connections.

A couple of years ago I was enrolled in connections for a 30 day free trial when I ordered something on a infomercial. I cancelled after the 30 days and this year when I tried to re-enroll connections would not let me, then one day my husband was offered this connections membership through one of our credit cards (if you cashed the check you would be automatically enrolled) so I ran to the bank and cashed the check to be enrolled and so far I have never had a problem. I would try again if I were you with your husband's name. It can't hurt.

Hotwire is now offering the Connections program through their new savings club. You get the first 30 days free and then are charged monthly for a fee of $7.95. Maybe that might be an option to sign your DH up and get your vouchers.

I joined connections and cancelled and was able to join the Hotwire savings club with the same cc number and address with no problem.

If you're looking to just purchase the meal vouchers, you may want to try FloridaOrlandoTickets.com . Mary Waring (of MouseSavers) has a positive review of this company on her site and I have purchased passes from them in the past with no problems at all.

I'm not sure how their prices compare to Connections but there is no hassle of joining and cancelling a membership. And the company is a member of the the BBB Online.

I'm going to give it until this Tues. for the 2nd enrollment attempt to go through. If they still don't have it, I guess I'll try the Hotwire option.
Then as a last resort I''ll get the Q&C vouchers from florida tickets. They are a bit more ($14 as opposed to $11.25) than Connections and I don't see the Vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers offered through them, but as mentioned there "is no hassle of joining and cancelling a membership." At this point, that is a BIG plus!

Today I called Connections one last time to see if the enrollment under my DH's name was on their records....... still nothing!! So I've given up on trying to enroll through LV and........
I just signed up through Hotwire.com. and my membership went through!!

I signed up online and got my enrollment e-mail a few minutes later. Immediately went online and ordered my vouchers!!!

HAPPY DAY!!!!!!

After reading everyone's posts about how simple it was to sign up through LV, wait 3 days, get member ID from Connections and then order the vouchers, I assumed that this is how it would go for me too. BUT NO!!! Of course not!
Anyway, I'm so glad to finally have my month to month membership and my vouchers ordered. Thanks to all who suggested Hotwire.com......it worked!!
