Help, anyone know how to stretch minnie ears?

I bought some adult Minnie ears headbands to wear on my next trip. But, they are too tight, I guess I have a big head, lol! I didn't think I did, but these things hurt after wearing them for a little while. Does anyone know how I could stretch them? I think they are covered plastic headbands, not sure though.

Try heating them gently with a hair dryer and expanding them slightly with you hands. Hold in place until cool. The plastic might become more pliable with the heat.

1) Soak them in water.
2) Put them on a solid stretcher (like a rock, basketball, etc).
3) Let them dry.
4) Might take 2-3 processes.

Great ideas! Thank you so much! I bought the black and red ears, and the purple and green ears for Halloween. So I'll try both methods. Ya'll rock, and thanks again. I'll let you know how it works!

Depending on the construction... you might be able to open an end and swap out the old inner headband for a new one that fits better, then glue or stitch the end closed again.

What a brilliant idea!!!! I have no idea why I couldn't think of these ideas myself!
I have them "stretching" on a bubba keg now. My husband was bewildered as to why his bubba keg was on it's side with two sets of Minnie ears wrapped around the middle of it.

I was wondering what in the world I would do if I accidently broke one, now I know! Thank you!
