Yes you can upgrade them. I did last year with a child ticket for AM. What are you upgrading to?

We want to upgrade to a 8 or 9 day water parks and more. Do they give you the price for 3 days or 5 days against the new ticket????

It was a ticket purchased through airmiles. We added parkhopper. I don't know how Disney would know that the ticket you have was part of a deal. It will just come up as a 5 day base ticket.

Use the ticket to enter a park before you upgrade. That brings the ticket to gate price and no longer a discounted ticket. You should then be able to upgrade for only the cost of the upgrade.
