Good morning:

I need some help. Does anyone know of any sales or deals from Hartford (BDL) to Orlando (MCO) for 4-22-06 returning 4-29-06.

I see some lower prices but the times are not great.

Looking for an arrival of 11:00 a.m. or so and departure of 11:00 a.m. also

Thanks a bunch.

:thumbsup2

HI

Try Southwest, If you can be more flexible with your times, you can get one for $309! for those dates. Also, sign up for their DING updates, I saw OW fares for $101 last week.

Good Luck

Jodi

We also fly out of Bradley and, as I'm sure know, there's only 2 options for direct non-stop flights: Southwest and Delta.

One option that some CT folks do is to fly out of Providence or JFK or Laguardia (or even Logan), where the options/fares are typically better. We've never done this, at least not yet.

The dates you are traveling are really really really popular -- lots and lots of Spring breakers and demand is at a peak.

I'd check many times a day on Southwest and Delta because something might open up (and when it does, it'll be scooped up quickly, too). $300+taxes/fees per person round trip is on the high side. We're flying in May on Southwest and are paying $808 for 4 people incl. taxes/fees, but that was a very good internet-only fare and I caught a break while checking several times a day last week. I went back up yesterday and our flight is still not sold out, but they've changes the internet-only lowest fare to $130 one-way + taxes/fees, so they keep playing around with the prices.

Here's sending pixie dust. :wizard:

I feel your pain, I have been looking to fly out from Hftd. as well and have been shocked by the prices of airfare. The lowest I found was like $265 pp....I ended up redeeming skymiles and paying for DH. Keep searching though and use the flexible options on travelocity to find the cheapest days. If you are flexible I seen some fares around $190 pp.. Good luck!

I used to live in CT in Madison. Try Delta/Song (song will still be running in April). Or Southwest. Airfare in april is always sort of high because of vaca. just dry delta or southwest. Or you can try providence. I tryed logan once and hated it same with JFK. I would stick with BDL or providence.

If you have not downloaded Southwest DING from their web site yet I strongly sugggest that you do so. It doesn't always work out with real cheap fares for when you will want to go but when it does it is fantastic.

Last month I was able to get 4 R/T tickets on a N/S flight from BDL to MCO for 4/29 and return on 5/8 for a total of $448.40.
