Hi Gang

Our friends are planning a trip to Disney and are going to take advantage of the DreamMaker package (for Canadians at Par) between December and April 05. They have a 4 year old daughter.

They know nothing about Disney much less staying on site. So I'd like to offer some advice that would let them have an increadible first stay. There first response was that they were planning to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort with UPH for 7 nights via the DreamMaker. This would cost them $2200 Cdn. Not a bad price but I'm wondering if we can all offer them some better advice. She is also a teacher which would entitle her to a nice discount at the Swan/Dolphin.

Can anyone offer some good advice for me, them.

Thanks
Andy

You may want to post this message on the Canadian Boards as well, as they could probably help you out more.

Before they jump into a Canadian at Par special, make sure to tell them to double check all the other current specials out, as they may work out to be cheaper for them with how good the exchange is right now.

Hope This Helps!

I'm actually planning our trip as well for the end of March which happens to be spring break for my DS6. I'm in CA so I don't know if this is different for you but here it goes:
I received quotes for packages vs. piecing the vacation myself and I find that with the current codes, I'm able to get a lower price with getting everything separately. Based upon my calculations, I'm able to save about $500(US). Now, keep in mind that this isn't really an "apples-to-apples" comparison because the Dream Maker package includes the UPH pass whereas my piece-meal package is based off the 7-day PHP pass. For me, that's ok because for the days I'm traveling, I would lose 2 days because of the difference in time. Now, I heard that you can switch any of the days in the UPH pass to be a PHP pass. So, if you don't use it, it won't expire. However, I don't know if this is true or not because I heard this from someone that a neighbor. If you want, I can email you a spread sheet that itemizes all of the expenses that I have calculated. PM me if you want more info.
