I'm without good experience, here.

Does terminal A still have to take a tram to get to Magical Express like terminal B does?

Is it easy for someone in terminal B to meet someone in terminal A. Are we at the same area, but opposite sides of the terminal? Like do we just walk over to the other side?

I'm sorry this appears dumb; I really would appreciate some info, here.

There are some good links here that will give you a good idea of the layout of MCO. Think of it as an X, but on it's side. The top half is Side A, bottom half is Side B. With the main area inbetween at that crossroads of the X. When you get off your plane, you will walk to the tram area. There is a tram system on both sides of the airport. When you get off that tram, you are now entering the main area of the terminal..you go past security and into the center of the terminal area. If you arrive on Side A, you will just cross through the center of the terminal, and head to the big neon Side B sign, overhead. It's really hard to miss. Then, go down to level 1, ground transportation, to DME. You arrived on level 3, baggage claim is on level 2.

In order to access each side, and get to the gate areas, you have to go through security. So...if you are meeting someone who arrives on the other side, you are better off just meeting up someplace central.

Ok, MCO is not like JFK, IAH, DAL, etc. In those airports when you see the designation "terminal 'X' or terminal 'Y'" they are talking about different physical buildings. At MCO it's more side A and side B, there is only one terminal building with 4 "pods" that have the gates in them. Once you take the tram to the main terminal everyone is in the same building. And Yes everyone takes a tram from the gate to the main area.

I hope this is clear enough.

then we can't really meet up easily at the terminal if we are on opposite sides; because, there's security issues involved.

So, it's best if we each take our different trams to the other, main building where the Disney transportaion is located and then meet up, right? If so, then can someone please give me a good landmark store at the airport to meet at in the main building, please.

Thanks again.

I would just plan to meet up at DME. There are plenty of seating areas on that level. After you leave your plane, take the tram, etc. you go down to the lowest level and walk forever to DME :lmao:. There are little seating areas down there where you could sit and wait.

Just have whomever arrives last call when they are headed that way and you can be on the lookout for them!

MCO central area is huge. Some people say to meet up at the Disney Store...well, there are two of them!!! It's just so much easier to just head down to the DME area. There is lots of seating there, nice comfy couches and chairs. You can grab something to eat and bring it with you, or take your time, eat something up on the main level and then head down to DME when you're done.
So much easier than trying to meet up on level 3, main level. Way too confusing.

After you exit security and come out into the open (any tram, any airline), you are somewhat between the A side and the B side of the rectangular main terminal. Look to one side to see a large (about 3 foot) neon A on the wall; look to the other side to see the neon B. (Straight ahead goes to the food court.)

From gates 1 to 59, after exiting security, take a right and go down two levels (two escalators or, I think four half flights of stairs). You are almost at the Magical Express area.

From gates 60-129, after exiting security into the cavernous Hyatt hotel atrium, look slightly to the left and slightly down. You want to go all the way to that far corner and downstairs, although the walkways do not make for a beeline in that direction.

From gates 60-129, if you turn left and go downstairs the two levels first and then walk to the far corner, have the windows to the outside at your left.
